Pat Croce has a refreshingly honest and at times irreverent style.
However, this book is quite mainstream. The author espouses many of
the common sense leadership attributes / practices depicted in
conventional leadership material, which is proof that to be successful, one
can't stray too far from the basics. Not to worry though, Mr. Croce mixes in
many of his colorful quotes and anecdotes to keep things interesting and
fun. It's a great primer on leadership and, by the way, if you can't get
motivated by Pat Croce, check your pulse. Take action on his suggested
recommendations and you and your organization will improve.
