Michael Raynor picks up where Clayton Christensen left off with “The
Innovator’s Dilemma.” This book makes the claim that Disruptive Theory
can be a predictor of successful innovation. In fact, much of the book is
focused on making that case. This is an important concept to delve into,
because presently there are no other predictors of success when it comes
to innovation.
The book provides a good review of disruptive innovation and how it can be
applied. Raynor also readily admits some of its limitations. He does a fine
job of explaining some fairly technical concepts in laymen’s terms.
