Title:  How to Work for an Idiot:  Survive and Thrive
Without Killing Your Boss
Author:  John Hoover
Stars:  ***

Have you ever worked for a boss that was a complete idiot?  Odds are, if
you have been in the working world for a few  years, you probably have.
Although he can’t pinpoint the reasons why, Hoover explains that
corporate America is full of them.  He calls them I-Bosses.  He claims that
having an I-Boss is actually not as bad as it sounds.  There are, in fact,
bosses that are far worse!  Hoover describes these boss types too.  If you
have an I-Boss, the best strategy is to accept your plight and learn how to
thrive in the I-Boss’s environment.  The book gives tips on how to do just
that.

Maybe you are an I-Boss too?  Reading this book will help you decide.  If
you are, there’s still hope.  Hoover claims to be a recovering I-Boss
himself.

Although a bit exaggerated and repetitive, the book does have some good
insights and quite a few “Dilbert-like” laughs.
