Title: How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big
Success in Relationships
Author: Leil Lowndes
Stars: ***
As the main title implies, this book gives tips on how to talk to people
(especially “big winners”) for those that have not exactly been born with the
gift of the gab. The majority of the tips, however, focus on the subtitle -
developing successful relationships. It has a definite Dale Carnegie feel
to it. The author admits as much, but maintains that hers is a newer
formula with more specifics on the execution, or the “how.”
The book is very easy to read. The author mixes in humor with interesting
stories. She gives each tip a memorable name which makes it fun.
Readers will probably not find all 92 tips useful and may even disagree
with some, but most will find quite a bit of value in this book.
The closing message is one that applies to almost any other book –
Practice, Practice, Practice!
